With this we challenged the workers at Omega Mas to show us what they can do. Teams were given the opportunity to turn nothing into something, as the challenge was to take the wood that is normally not used for Furniture-making and turn it into something unique.

In total 45 people/teams entered the competition and came up with what we have to say is a very ”eclectic” range of items.

Based on these items we had cash prices for the top 3 entries, this decided on by our customers. Our customers were all able to vote on all the items and they also were able to bid on the items to buy them, with the proceeds going to one of social projects that we organized in 2009.

Based on this we are able to donate a substantial amount of money to the selected orphanage, we also were able to donate new school supplies for the class rooms and add a few hundred books to a local schools library.
